Pascal Dupuis

This 6.1 feet tall ice hockey player made ice hockey his passion and his career with an estimation of $4 million as his salary. In 2000, Dupuis started playing for the Minnesota Wild and took about a year to formally appear as a regular player. In 2008 he joined the Pittsburgh Penguins and earned good fame through his good play. He made his first hat-trick in the same year against New York. In 2013, Dupuis faced a major accident during a game against the Senators. He crashed and fell on the ice, unable to get up. His knee suffered severe ligament tear and Dupuis did not return for the season. He was on bed rest for more than seven weeks and underwent surgery in 2014. During the same year, Dupuis was again struck accidentally on his neck by his fellow teammate. He lay still for several minutes and needed medical attention. He could not play for several days. This was not the end. The same year seemed to be a doom for him. In November, he was diagnosed with a lung blood clot which was supposedly due to his leg injury. He had been earlier diagnosed with similar blood clots and was under strict medication. He only returned full term into play in the year 2015, but was still unstable. Due to his poor health, he decided to retire but still remains in long term contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins on medical grounds. He is currently married to Carole Lyne and has four children, three daughters and one son. Despite his retirement, his fans look forward for his come back into the arena of ice hockey where he has shown immense talent as a left winger.
